React or respond

Reacting is often an immediate, emotional action. It's like a reflex, and sometimes, it's not the best move. Think of it like a knee-jerk reaction when someone cuts you off in traffic. It might not be the most productive way to handle the situation, right?

Responding, on the other hand, is more thoughtful. It's about taking a moment to assess the situation and then choosing the best course of action. When you respond, you're in control, you're deliberate, and you're focused on creating a positive outcome. It's the difference between a heated argument and a calm, constructive conversation.

In sales and service, responding is your golden ticket. It leads to understanding, builds relationships, and, ultimately, helps you close deals. It’s about adding that little extra, that "Plus 1," to ensure the customer leaves with a smile and a positive story to tell.

So, my advice is simple: aim to respond, not just react. It’s the path to building integrity, trust, and success in all your interactions. And remember, every response is an opportunity to showcase your character and the strength that lies within you.
